My approach to therapy is interpersonal in orientation and firmly grounded in sound scientific evidence to maximize the likelihood that you'll achieve your goals in the shortest period of time. Treatment of depression, anxiety and trauma-related issues are my areas of emphasis and I specialize in couple and family therapy.
I have advanced training in Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy, which is an approach that focuses on helping couples gain awareness of and resolve the problematic patterns of interaction that maintain their distress.
I specialize in treating couples with sexual issues and couples recovering from affairs. We will spend the first three sessions conducting a comprehensive evaluation using assessment tools specifically designed for couple therapy.
